New Clients
  1. For your first visit, please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out a client
    information form.  This allows us to know your medical history and
    how to tailor the massage session.  Subsequent visits will not require
    the form unless medical changes occur.  This will also be the time for
    you to let the massage therapist know your massage needs and
    expectations.
  2. The therapist will then lead you to a relaxing room with a made-up
    massage table and soft music playing.  You will be instructed on
    where to hang your clothing and how to lie on the table.  The therapist
    will depart for a few minutes to allow you privacy.  After undressing,
    get on the massage table under the top sheet.  The therapist will
    knock to indicate reentry.  If you aren't ready, say so.
  3. When the massage begins, conversation will usually be limited
    unless you want to talk.  This is your massage.  The therapist will
    inquire about your comfort from time to time to ensure an optimum
    massage experience.  You will be completely covered by a sheet
    except for the area being worked.  Breasts on women, genitalia and
    the gluteal cleft are never exposed; remember, this is a professional
    massage.  If you prefer not to have music, let the therapist know.
  4. When the massage is complete, the therapist will gently signal you.  
    He/she will leave the room to allow you privacy to dress.  Please take
    your time in getting off the table.
  5. The therapist will be waiting for you when you come out.  At this point,
    you can briefly discuss your massage experience and make future
    appointments, if desired.  Payment for the massage will be rendered
    at this time.
  6. After departing, continue to have a relaxed day, if possible.  Drink
    plenty of fluids and get a good night's sleep to continue the healing
    work of the massage.
  7. 24-hour advanced notice is required for appointment cancellations or
    for rescheduling.  Failure to do so will result in full charge for the
    appointment.  Missed appointments will also be charged in full.
